Hype Life

(snapshot by Zivojin Petrovic www.zika.biz :-)

Start the day right. Save all that frantic wasted time used in the morning to prepare for the day. Spend the night before preparing for the next day.

Declutter your space. It takes energy to keep possessions in working order or dusted. Get rid of the stuff that’s broken or missing a part.

Learn to say “no.” Don’t overload your schedule with more tasks, more jobs, more volunteer time. It’s OK to say no.

Turn off the TV. We waste too much time sitting in front of the TV. Curb how many hours the TV is on. And before you pick up the remote control, ask yourself if there are activities to share with the family, or entertainment, like a museum visit or play, that you’ve been putting off.

Commit to number one. When the demands of work, parenthood, or household chores get you down, it’s time to schedule a date with yourself. Whether it’s every Sunday night or 20 minutes each morning, the important thing is to make a plan and stick to it.

Find a sanctuary. Escape to a place to enjoy peaceful solitude.

Be spontaneous. Spontaneity is key to feeling like you’re in control of your own destiny. Every once in a while, a change in routine can spark your spirits and your energy.

Live beneath your means. Did you know that 80% of America’s self-made millionaires are frugal? If you want to achieve economic independence, try buying only what you can afford, not what you think you need. See how long you can go without cashing a check, charging on credit, or buying anything. You’ll be amazed how ingenious and inventive you can be.

Rewrite the course of your day. When the newspaper’s horoscope doesn’t tell you what you want to hear, write your own, using words that make you feel great. Or start jotting down phrases you like on slips of paper, put them in a box, and pick as many as you need to start the day.

Listen to your body. You know what your biological clock prefers. Indulge it and watch your productivity grow.

Sledim....

REVOLUTION: make it simple and - global

As I completely agree with my JCI friends from Xing (lets say: platform I am addicted to), I stand for SIMPLE AND GLOBAL solutions ;-)

Yet another platform, some might say, but it fits well in my personal mission - to make things easier to operate and to raise level of responsibility in all fields.

Call me naive, but that is what I find WEB 2.0 and neworking leverage is about.

In order to bring it into my native people and my counry which suffered a lot and suffers still (just to mention Kosovo and Metihija IS part of Serbia), I have writen an article about intiative of Open Architecture Network. Its published in todays issue of Politika Newspapers and Magazines Architecture for mankind, article published today

(Because from time to time my articles vanish from site archive on Politika online,
I will put on this blog whole article, in Serbian, soon, I promise!)

~~~
About Open Architecture Network : One billion people live in abject poverty. Four billion live in fragile but growing economies. One in seven people live in slum settlements. By 2020 it will be one in three. We don't need to choose between architecture or revolution. What we need is an architectural revolution.
The U.N. Millennium Development Goals aim to "achieve improvement in the lives of 100 million slum dwellers by the year 2015." Reaching this goal will require a profoundly new approach to improving the built environment.
The Open Architecture Network aims to be just such a catalyst for change.
Far from replacing the traditional architect, the goal of the network is to allow designers to work together in a whole new way, a way that enables 5 billion potential clients to access their skills and expertise.
The network has a simple mission: to generate not one idea but the hundreds of thousands of design ideas needed to improve living conditions for all.
About me
Yes, you are on my private WEB CORNER www.cyberpoetica.blogspot.com
Dear ALL :-)
(oops, I did it again!)
I am Cybernaut, for real. Miss Cybernaut, let's say a journalist envolved in market deeper insight, but frankly: almost very geek-girl considering wearing Hello Kitty pyjamas and Blogger t-shirts, and spending some time on web...I mean every f***ing day.
Why I am blogging? Ive started when I felt great and very urgent neeed for change!
I gave myself a support in best manner of cyberia - I've runned this cute little website.
About a blog title: "Cyber", you all know what is the meaning; "poetica" stands for skill (greek), especially for poetry skill (Greeks, according to Aristoteles, considered poems as a natural outcome of ~ gift combined with skill )
So...Instead of changing my hair colour or such short term rubbishness, I started to share my life and my dreams (at least, what has left of them) on web.
My happy corner is at www.cyberpoetica.blogspot.com.........and from time to time I write in English (Okay, I did make it a bit global :-)
This is my skyline. Enjoy.
Should you have any comments, don't hesitate to publish 'em! Or to speak up here!
Strictly allowed:Google and the Meaning of NJA!
APPENDIX:
The truth is: I don't read online stuff where I can not post a comment: if they are not interested in me, I really dont care about what they want to tell me / sell me. (Yes, I know what this sounds like!!! )
So I stand up for all the good things globalisation and new trends can bring into our lifes (indeed, if set properly)
Untill it all comes true, pls consider me a bit of a geek girl :-)
....and consider some tail waving that makes you feel you just have to drop a comment. Nja.
